She was predeceased by: her parents, John Baltzly Garver and Grace Garver (Miller); her husband Dale E. Bichsel; her siblings, Elizabeth Jolie and John B. Garver, Jr.; and her granddaughter Katie Bichsel.

She is survived by: her children, Beth Ricard (Steve), David Bichsel (Vivian) and Mary Jo Davis (Doug). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren.
