He was predeceased by: his mother Rebecca Mouch (McVicker); and his grandparents, Harold Mouch, Ruth Mouch, James E. McVicker and Catherine Louise McVicker.

He is survived by: his father Daniel Mouch (Sharon) of Perrysburg, Ohio; his wife Sarah Smith; his children, Becky, Ethan and Drew Mouch of Delaware, Ohio; his sisters, Tami Ramsey (Nate) of Toledo, Sara Mouch of Waterville and Julie MacLean (Greg) of Monclova, Ohio; and his stepsiblings, Matt Appelhans (Stacy), Kelly Garman (Kris), Tracy Binkowski (Drew) and Scott Appelhans. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home- Whitehouse Chapel (6603 Providence St, Whitehouse, OH 43571). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home (6603 Providence St, Whitehouse, OH 43571).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Auglaize County Humane Society in Wapakoneta, OH. Keep Jefferson 's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.

“This news absolutely broke my heart. I worked with Jeff at Huntington for several years. He had such a great heart and was fun to work with. We talked a lot and I truly enjoyed our conversations. My favorite memory was the day I retired. When I was getting ready to leave he asked me for some advice and out of the blue he gave me a huge hug! I will never forget that hug.
