He is survived by: his mother Ruth Mattox (Cox); his children, Martha Lynn Wilson, James A. Mattox, Jr., Mary Beth Haner and Robyn Morton (Eric); and his grandchildren, William, James Nimmo, Karyn Baker, Branden, John, Alex Haner, Leah and Owen Morton. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren and many extended family.
