James E. Volkert Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James E. Volkert of Delaware, Ohio, who passed away on July 15, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Opal Volkert (Applegate) and Guy Volkert; his brother Robert Volkert; and his sister-in-law Marlene Volkert. He is survived by: his wife Donna Volkert (Leibold); his children, Jeff (Roseann) and Melissa; his grandsons, Cameron Volkert, Mike Battershell and Adam Battershell (Carly); and his sister Ella Jane Stuckey (Dennis). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jim's memory to the Humane Society of Delaware County or the Huber Opera House and Civic Center in Hicksville, OH.
