He is survived by: his wife Norma; his children, Laura Van Riper (Chris), John Chidester (Melissa) and Paul Chidester (Marly); his grandchildren, April Sabol, Gregory Van Riper (Whitney), Sarah Wolff (Davis), Clarke and Andrew Chidester; his stepgrandchildren, Alex and Emily Caton; and his great grandchildren, Bryce Van Riper, J. C. Sabol and Davis James Wolff.
