She was predeceased by: her parents, John D. Owen and Mary Helen Owen (Huston); her husband Rex B. Scott; her son James Arthur; and her brother-in-law Alvin Trimble.
She is survived by: her son John; her sister Virginia Trimble; her nephew Brad (Dolores); her niece Kim (Dana Davis); her stepgrandchildren, Keri, Tia, Curtis, Trevor and Jason; her daughter Jeaniene Doughty; and her pets, Charlie, Scooter, Buster, Brutus and Bogart.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her name to the Humane Society of Delaware County.
