Edith Balser Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edith Balser (Delaware, Ohio), who passed away on August 23, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Helmut Gutheil and Emma Gutheil (Schmitt); her brother Jost; and her significant other Robert "Bob" Balser. She is survived by: her children, Kurt Balser (Michele) of Batesville and Kim Thompson (Keith) of Delaware; her grandchildren, Stephanie Hardman (Scott), Janelle Gasaway (Matthew), Luke Thompson (Ashley), Joseph and James Balser (Adele); her great grandchildren, Alex, Connor Hardman, Dylan, Audrey Gasaway and Ava Balser; and her siblings, Inge Ackerman of Amherst, Ilse Long of Jonesboro, Georgia, Doris Sparks of Columbus and Rudolph Gutheil of Whitehall. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
