It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Benson Carter of Delaware, Ohio, who passed away on June 13, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Edgebert and Mina Blanche Carter (Benson); his brother Harry Thomas Carter; and his granddaughter Eleanor Catherine Carter. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Rochelle Carter (Clark); his children, Cheryl Ann Carter of Columbus, Tamara Carter Shipman of Galena, Teresa Sue Wiltshire of Piqua and David Andrew Carter of Westerville; and his siblings, Mary Ann Paszek of Onancok, VA, Nancy Jean Watson of Columbus and Phillip Lee Carter of Lansing, MI. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Beginnings Church, 2163 State Route 37 East, Delaware, OH 43015 or First United Methodist Church, 110 West Franklin Street, Troy, OH 45373.
