He was predeceased by: his parents, William Patrick and Flossie Deel (O'Quin); his wife Lorena; his brother Kilby Deel; and his brothers-in-law, Hans Grote, Robert Doubek and Jack Elliott.
He is survived by: his children, Martie Deel (Ruth) of Sunbury, Deborah Burton (Nik) of Bellefontaine, Lawrence Deel (Teresa) of Marengo and Peggy Coleman (Keith) of Marion; his grandchildren, Danielle Coleman, Jessica Bosh (Steve), Lorena Robinson (Willie), Sherry Kegley (Joe), Jason Deel, Natalie Mason, Consuela Deel, Shawn DeLong (Amanda), Jeffrey May (Sara), Patricia May (Brandon), Lindsay Holliday and Erica Holliday; and his siblings, James Alfred Deel (Patricia), Patrick Deel, Floria Grote, Julia Doubek, Marida Elliott, Margaret Deel and Darlene Neilson (Dennis). He is also survived by 21 great- grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
