He was predeceased by: his parents, Judd Albert Carey and Ida Mae Carey (Rees); and his brother-in-law Dick Schroerlucke. He is survived by: his spouse Jean Carey (Chandler); his sons, Raymond Carey, Jim Carey (Debbie), Michael Carey (Brenda) and David Carey (Emily); his grandchildren, Alexander Carey, Hailey Carey, Benjamin Carey, Evan Carey, Cassidy Carey, Austin Carey, Elena Carey and Megan Carey; and his siblings, Joan Cho (Bryan), Martha Schroerlucke and Max Carey (Louann).
