He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Lemuel and Mary Evalena Lane (Cox); and his brother Gary Lane. He is survived by: his children, Tammy Lane, Scott Lane (Heather), Rae Stamm (Tony), Tabitha Crace (James) and Teresa Davis (JP); and his siblings, Betty Deleon (Lee), Jim Lane and Stephen Lane. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
