He was predeceased by: his parents, Harrison Lester Pope and Myrtle Pope (Gates); his wife Mary K. Pope (Dowell); his great grandchildren, Liam Pope and Knox Pope; and his siblings, Beatrice Bender, Avril Hughes, Connie Pope, William Carol Pope, Roger Pope and David Pope.
He is survived by: his sons, Ronald E. Pope (Pam), Jerry Pope (Mary), Steve Pope and Alan Pope (Tonya); and his grandchildren, Heidi (Matt), Heather (Chad), Hollie (TJ), Shane (Tiffany), Kimmie (Tim), Stevie (Aimee), Brandon (Jessica), Carrie (Jamie), Brittany (Josh), Zachary (Peighton), Scottie (Jamie), Justin (Nicole) and Ethan (Sammy). He is also survived by 30 great grandchildren; a great great granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home (210 Hayes St, De Graff, OH 43318). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
