It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Pope (DeGraff, Ohio), born in Bellefontaine, Ohio, who passed away on April 24, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Dowell and Gladys Dowell (Byer); her siblings, Richard Dowell, Jim Dowell, Charles Dowell and Patricia Plikerd; and her great grandchildren, Liam Pope and Knox Pope.
She is survived by: her husband Eugene "Gene" Pope; her sons, Ronald Pope (Pam) of DeGraff, Jerry Pope (Mary) of West Liberty, Steve Pope (Kim Kies) of DeGraff and Alan Pope (Tonya) of Quincy, Ohio; and her grandchildren, Heidi (Matt), Heather (Chad), Hollie (Scott), Shane Kimmie (Tim), Stevie (Aimee), Brandon (Jessica), Carrie (Jamie), Brittany (Josh), Zachary, Scottie (Jamie), Justin (Nicole) and Ethan (Sammy). She is also survived by twenty nine great grandchildren, with one on the way; a great-great grandchild on the way and many nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 situation, the family asks that you be symptom free and keep social distancing if attending Mary's services.
