He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest Marquis and Irma Marquis (Raper); his sister Sandra Monteith; and his half-siblings, Georgia Williams and James Dohse.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Marquis (Brugh); and his children, Jon Marquis Jr. of DeGraff, Doug Marquis (Linda) of Bellefontaine, Tim Marquis of DeGraff and Cary Marquis (Kelly) of Quincy, Ohio. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
