She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer C. Sr. Vorpe and Blanche Vorpe (Bodey); her husband Ned R. Persinger; her grandson Stephen Persinger; and her siblings, Elmer C. Vorpe Jr., Stanley Vorpe, George Vorpe, Carl Vorpe, Harriett Stephenson, Ruth Maurer and Kay Rice.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Spiers, Wesley Persinger (Sandy), Deborah Hablutzel (Brent), Linda Fay (David), Melissa Dennis (David), Nathan Persinger (Tonya) and Tim Persinger (Karen); her grandchildren, Damon, Deadra, Joseph, Joshua, Amanda, Brandon, Jacob, Andrea, Katherine, Christina, Paula, Matthew and Daniel; and her sister Jeanne Gibson. She is also survived by 36 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
