He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ponce Weber; his daughter Maria Sleigh (Wesley Sleigh) of Defiance, Ohio; his grandson Wesley Sleigh III; his stepson Robert Mendez of Dearborn, Michigan; and his sister Jeanne Stewart of Defiance, Ohio. He is also survived by four other sisters; and numerous relatives and friends.
He was passionate about working with international exchange students with the EF Foundation.
