Wayne L. Roehrig Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wayne L. Roehrig of Defiance, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 5, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Olin Roehrig (Mutt) of Roehrig's Market and Veronica Roehrig (Cupp); his in-laws, Lee and Addie Smith; his wife Linda Lee Roehrig; his son Timothy; and his grandsons, David and Douglas Roehrig.

He is survived by: his children, Jeffery (Diana) of Kalida, Michele Dietrich (Tom) of Defiance and Jenifer Anders (Evan) of Defiance; his grandchildren, Kristen Lee (Isaac), Audrey Archer (David), Peter Roehrig, Emily Anders, Mitchell Roehrig (Annie), Tony Dietrich (Shila), Kevin Roehrig (Jamie), Abby Anders, Zach Dietrich (Xue), Bryant Dietrich (Maddie), Katerina Roehrig, Jillian Dietrich and Alexa Dietrich; his great grandchildren, Addison, Madelyn, Jackson, Henry Lee, Evan, Piper, Jhett Archer, Kaya Dietrich, Nora, Liam Dietrich, Lucy, Wade Roehrig, Calli, Cooper and Carter Roehrig; his brothers, John and Denny Roehrig; his siblings-in-law, Rose Smith and Ronnie Smith (Mary); his great-niece Cheryl Harrow (Roehrig); his siblings, Gene, Paul, Lynn, Donald, June Hoffman and Joyce Shock; and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Sizemore, Dorothy Beckham, Larry Smith, Billy Smith and Bobby Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lawson-Roessner Chapel (1753 S Clinton St, Defiance, OH 43512). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Catholic Church (510 Jackson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512).

Memorials can be made to CHP Inpatient Hospice Center or St. John Catholic Church.
