She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Hefflinger; her brother Gene Bowers; her great grandchild Kiera Duncan; and her great great grandchild Azura Yant. She is survived by: her children, Bruce Hefflinger (Dianne) and Sheri Cereghin (Mark Hostettler); and her grandchildren, Dylan Hefflinger, Ben Kroeckel (Melinda), Jamie Cereghin (Kylee), Brian Cereghin, Jennifer Weisenburger (Craig) and Kelly Kroeckel (Andrae Richardson). She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schaffer Funeral Home (529 Jefferson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (655 Wayne Ave, Defiance, OH 43512).
