He was predeceased by: his father Marvin Oberhaus. He is survived by: his siblings, David Oberhaus of Defiance and Sally Stites (Tony); his niece Megan Stites; his nephew A. J. Stites (K. C.); his great-nieces, Finnley and Hazel; and his great-nephew Zane of Ft. Wayne, Indiana.. He is also survived by his family and many good life-long friends.

Memorials are suggested to St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
