He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle O. Kirk and Beatrice M. Kirk (Hart); and his siblings-in-law, James Jerger and Georgeen Kirk. He is survived by: his wife Christine Kirk of Defiance; his children, Alyssia McDowell (Brian) of Defiance and Aaron Kirk (Shannon) of Defiance; his grandchildren, Maci, Brock, Max, Lyla, Alec, Baeden and Emersyn; his great grandchild Penelope; his brother Fred Kirk of Westland, Michigan; and his sister-in-law Denise Muehlfeld (Phil) of Montpelier. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thompson-Funeral Home - Montpelier (204 E Main St, Montpelier, OH 43543). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (209 Broad St, Montpelier, OH 43543).
Memorial contributions may be given in Tom's memory to the Williams County Gun Club or the Montpelier Area Foundation.
