We bid farewell to Sonia Alicia (Barboza) Olvera of Defiance, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 27, 2024 at the age of 44. Sonia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her mother Alicia Guadalupe Barboza; her grandfather Ramon Barboza; her godson Rico Ledesma; her cousin Sob Sob Guerrero; her brother Daniel Barboza; and her uncles, Roberto Bob Guerrero and Ruben Orozco.
She is survived by: her siblings, George Olvera (Regina), Raquel Rodriguez (Dione) and Alicia Boes (Chaz); her nieces and nephews, Alicia (Lou Lou), Seina, Naya, Victoria, Laurita, Mickey, Savona, Vicente, Dione, Geronimo, Davi and Elias; her great-nieces, Esperanza and Marcelina; her godchildren, Victoria, Thaila, Jordan, Sophia and Mila; and her close friends, Aria Guadalupe, Melissa, Angie, Victoria and Tammy. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
