Rosemary Altherr Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosemary Altherr (Defiance, Ohio), who passed away on January 1, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Summers and Josephine Summers (DeWitt); her husband Richard J. Altherr; her granddaughter Ashley Mahnke; and her son-in-law Jeff Leatherman.
She is survived by: her children, John Altherr (Mick), Barbara Leatherman, Charles Altherr (Susie), Julie Mahnke (Denny), Edward Altherr, Elaine DeLeon (Robert) and Gwen Straley. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to St. Mary Catholic Church, St. Mary Food Pantry, Defiance County Furniture Bank, or St. Vincent de Paul Society.
