He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Wortkoetter and Sarah Wortkoetter (Thiel); and his brothers, Oscar, William, Vincent and Richard Wortkoetter.
He is survived by: his wife Carol L. Wortkoetter (Brown) of Defiance; his children, James Wortkoetter (Deb) of Old Monroe, MO, Thomas Wortkoetter of Lockport, NY and Becky Arps (Steve) of Napoleon, OH.; and his grandchildren, Sarah Homan, Timothy Wortkoetter (Gretchen Hsu), Benjamin Wortkoetter (Becky), Andrew Wortkoetter and Stephanie Huntley (Shane). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to St. Mary Catholic Church, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
