It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert L. Polasek (Defiance, Ohio), who passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert L. Polasek to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Polasek and Bessie Polasek (Sochor); and his brother Walter Polasek. He is survived by: his nephew Ben Polasek (Susan); his niece-in-law Susan Polasek; his niece Jodi Barnes (Rodney); his great-nephews, Reagan Polasek (Cierra Black) and Kantrell Hicks; his great-niece Kiara Hicks (John Fugate); and his sister-in-law Darlene Polasek.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schaffer Funeral Home (529 Jefferson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (5480 Moser Rd, Defiance, OH 43512).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Michael's Parish Center.
