He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Butler and Ada Butler (Dean); and his siblings, Mary Louise Boysen and Donald D. Butler. He is survived by: his sister Evelyn Hardy (Carlton) of Bryan, Ohio; and his nieces and nephews, Susan Martin (John) of Bryan, Beth Clarke (Phil) of Denver, Laura Jo Hanus (Jack) of Okeechobee, Florida, Jon Butler (Lili) of Alpena, Paul Butler (Jennifer) of Tuscan and Kent Hardy of Bryan.
