He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Neuwirth and Mildred Neuwirth (Kothe). He is survived by: his wife Veronica Neuwirth of Defiance; his son Charles Neuwirth (Melissa) of Warsaw; his brother David Neuwirth (Linda) of Cleveland; and his grandchildren, Cory Beatty (Nikki), Melodie Paul, Elizabeth Neibert (Jeremy) and Averie Neuwirth. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to The Ohio Wing CAP Cadet Program, or Tinora Planetarium.
