He is survived by: his wife Suman Mehta; his sons, Abhimanyu Mehta and Abhinav Mehta; and his siblings, Vidya Sagar Mehta, Prem Sagar Mehta (Asha) and Renu Dawar (Vijay). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
