She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Dazey and Florence Dazey (Harruff); her husband Ralph Cleaves; her son Max Cleaves; and her daughter-in-law Judy Cleaves.

She is survived by: her daughters, Janette Brown (Jim) of Defiance and Pamela Barber (William) of Bowling Green, OH. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to Ayersville School Library.
