She was predeceased by: her parents, Merenza Cantu (Gomez) and Guadalupe Leos Cantu; her husband Ildefonso B. Ramon; and her daughters, Jane Doyle and Priscilla Pena.
She is survived by: her children, Maria O. Sandoval, Jose Peña Jr. (Shalene) and Trudy Kirksey (Frank). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; and many great-great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Bethel Christian Church.
