He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Solak and Stella Solak (Slawinski); and his sister Mary Ann Monte. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Solak (Patty Porter) of Cecil; his stepdaughter Tisha Sandys of Defiance; his siblings, Geralyn Solak-Shawn of Martinez, Georgia, Carleen Solak of Saginaw, Mark Solak (Tami) of Roanoke and John Solak (Robin) of Brighton; his brother-in-law Rick Monte of Fishers; and his stepgrandchildren, Paige Sandys of Defiance, Isabel Sandys of Defiance and Logan Sandys of Defiance. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Schaffer Funeral Home (529 Jefferson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to a Paulding County charity of the donor's choice.
