It is with great sadness that we announce the death of MaryJo Pickering of Defiance, Ohio, who passed away on April 15, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Kenneth Gillespie; and her stepfather Eldon Long. She is survived by: her husband Kirk Pickering of Defiance; her daughters, Adrianne Shelhamer (Roswell) of Waynesville, OH and Jamie Ort (Thomas) of Defiance; her grandsons, Walter, Willard Shelhamer, Brennan and Zayden Ort; and her siblings, Patty Sonmor of Minnesota, Jim Christianson (Joan) of Michigan, Kelsey Long (Sally) of Nevada and Keith Long (Bobbi) of North Carolina. She is also survived by her family and many good friends.
Memorials are suggested to Family Christian Center or ELARA Hospice.
