It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Owens of Defiance, Ohio, who passed away on October 17, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis Bowman and Inez Bowman (Yates); and her siblings, Bert Stiltner and Julie Justus. She is survived by: her husband Carl "Gene" Owens of Defiance; her daughters, Leona Jacqueline "Jackie" Owens (William Burt) of Defiance, Betty Lenore Wagner (Daniel) of Columbus Grove, OH and Shirley Jean Hart (Thomas) of Ft. Wayne, IN.; and her siblings, Ricky Bowman of Grundy, Virginia., Dennis Bowman of Grundy, Virginia., Brenda Viars (Barry) of Grundy, Virginia., Connie Ramey (Kenny) of Grundy, Virginia., Patty Keene (Clifford) of Grundy, Virginia. and Janie Lester of Grundy, Virginia.. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
