It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret A. Thomas of Defiance, Ohio, who passed away on February 7, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Stoepfel and Zelma Stoepfel (Goedde); her husband Tom; and her siblings, Betty Eisman, Bob, David, John, Gene and Dick Stoepfel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Carr (George) of Defiance, Tracy Frederick (Dan) of Defiance, Lori Nafziger (Tim) of Defiance and Toni Hammersmith (Mike) of Defiance; her grandchildren, Ryan Carr (Tori), Tyler Carr (Hunter), Kyle Carr, TJ Nafziger, Ben Nafziger, Tristen Frederick and Eli Frederick; her great grandchild Penelope Carr; and her siblings, Jim Stoepfel (Jan), Mike Stoepfel (Karen), Tony Stoepfel (Cheryl), Mary Rutherford (Jack), Judy Cusac (Don) and Rosie Phillips (Tom).
Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
