She was predeceased by: her parents, Forest Virgil Pursel and Anna Eloise Pursel (Ingel); her husband Lowell Grant; and her sisters, Janis Bunnell and Leah Carr.
She is survived by: her children, Jay Grant (Chris Swary) of Defiance, Jadene Vance (Mark) of Paulding and John Grant (Carolyn Pishock) of Waterville; her grandchildren, Brandi Rigsby (Justin), Cyndel Donaldson (Tyler), Ashley Perry (Wesley), Heather Fedderke (Matt), Andrew Kessler (Rebecca), Dustin Grant, Houston Grant (Dan Sebastiano) and Bryce Grant; her great grandchildren, Hailey, Harper, Dexter, Rodan, Sophie, Hunter and Delaney; her stepgrandsons, Paul Vance and Joe Vance (Juliana); and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Ethan, Seth, Greta and Gavin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Schaffer Funeral Home (529 Jefferson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center, or Brookview Activities Fund.
