Lester H. Sauer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lester H. Sauer of Defiance, Ohio, who passed away on April 29, 2022 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sauer and Zelma Sauer (Laubenthal); his former wife Rita Mohr; his wife Dorothy Holley; his brother Florian Sauer; his daughter Virginia Ballentine; and his grandson Joshua Holley.
He is survived by: his children, Samuel L. Sauer (Judy) of Defiance, Thomas Sauer (Vicki) of Defiance, Larry Holley (Mary) of Defiance, Tom Holley (Coleen) of Sherwood and Elizabeth Koening (Kevin) of Naples, Florida.. He is also survived by several grand children, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Mary Food Pantry or Holy Cross Catholic School, Defiance, Ohio.
