He was predeceased by: his parents, Laird Cameron and Vera Cameron (Boyd); and his grandson Joshua Cameron. He is survived by: his spouse Gail Anderson of Defiance; and his children, Larry Cameron (Jami), Rex Cameron (Jen), Lisa Cameron and Dawn Carpenter (Bob). He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.

Preferred memorials may be made to the Dawn Carpenter Colon Cancer Benefit, the American Cancer Society, or a contribution of the donor's choice.
