It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June Carr of Defiance, Ohio, who passed away on October 24, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hanifan and Mary Hanifan (Euman); her grandson Austin Carr; and her siblings, Mary Smythe, Helen Mercer, Suzanne Hanifan, John Hanifan, Jr., Albert Hanifan, Frank Hanifan and David Hanifan.

She is survived by: her husband George Carr of Defiance; her children, George Carr (Mary) of Defiance, Steve Carr (Kathy) of Napoleon, OH and Sandy Potvin (Corey) of Bryan, OH.; and her sisters, Jo Davis of Zanesville, OH., Julia Ginikos of Zanesville, OH. and Velma Linscott (Dan) of Zanesville, OH.. She is also survived by six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
