James S. Potter Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James S. Potter of Defiance, Ohio, who passed away on December 20, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Potter and Elnora Potter (O'Quinn); his wife Mary Jane Potter; and his siblings, Janet Faye Dewese, Wanda Stevens and Jerry Potter.
He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie Potter of Defiance and Jessica Potter of Defiance; his sister Cassie Goff of Elko; and his brother-in-law Ronnie Stevens (Daisy Mae) of Harold.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oakwood Church of Christ (12983 Rd 191, Oakwood, OH 45873). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to Oakwood Church of Christ.
