We are sad to announce that on February 16, 2022, at the age of 80, James D. Huebner (Defiance, Ohio), born in Paulding, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Kassandra Raymer; and his siblings, Ruth Keller, Shirley Vance, Marilyn Boes, Jean Ricker, Don, Robert, Leo, Floyd, Larry and Joseph.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Singer; his children, Joann Reed of Sherwood, Ohio, Barb Huebner (Brenda) of Columbus, Ohio, Anita Simonis (Nathan) of Alexandria and David Huebner of Tampa; his sister Ruby Wirth of Sherwood; his grandchildren, Nicholas Reed (Marissa), Karlee Reed, Evan and Willa Simonis; his great grandchild Reagan Reed; and his exchange students, Ivanildo Holanda (Fernanda) of Brazil, Doris Ernst (Norbert) of Germany, Heike Menhorn of Germany, Sib Schlatter (Felix) of Switzerland and Nacho Otero Valeta of Spain. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren or great-grandson.
In honor of Jim's love of feeding and watching birds we ask that memorial contributions be made to the Ohio Bird Sanctuary .
