James B. Antoine Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James B. Antoine (Defiance, Ohio), who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Antoine and Bertha Antoine (Arend); his wife Mary Elizabeth Antoine; his grandson Shawn Paul Antoine; and his siblings, Clair Grew, Joseph Antoine, Lucille Hammon, Mary Ellen Saylor, Ethel Mae Ankney and Marilyn Minck.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Antoine of Defiance, Mary Jane Antoine of Defiance, Paul Antoine (Kelly) of Edgerton, OH, Michelle Detter (Mark) of Defiance and Richard Antoine of Little Rock, AR.; and his brother Carl Antoine of Paulding, OH. He is also survived by six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren.
The family requests donations be made in Jim's honor to St. Mary Food Pantry, Semper Fi, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
