It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Holly M. Hesselschwardt of Defiance, Ohio, who passed away on January 22, 2025, at the age of 45, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Marjorie A. Hesselschwardt (Varner). She is survived by: her father John J. Hesselschwardt; and her siblings, J. Peter Hesselschwardt (Annette), Suzanne M. Ankney (Robert), J. Lucius Hesselschwardt (Rachel) and J. Jay Hesselschwardt (Jennifer). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and many godchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schaffer Funeral Home (529 Jefferson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (715 Jefferson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512). A burial will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the St. Isidore's Catholic Church-Marysdale (6324 OH-15, Defiance, OH 43512).
