In loving memory of Helen L. Carroll of Defiance, Ohio, who departed this world on November 18, 2024 at the age of 82. Helen leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Helen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Helen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Hamman and Lucyle Hamman (Hendershot); her granddaughter Rebecca Armbruster; and her sister Sue Burgei. She is survived by: her children, Darin Dunlap of Defiance, Dave Schroeder (Amy) of Oakwood and Tricia Sisco (Tim) of Defiance; and her close friend Peggy Foor. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
