With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Grace Blanche Valentina Wilhelm of Defiance, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 3, 2024 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, John N. Meyer and Anna M. Klima; her children, Stephen and Pamela Wilhelm Giuliani; and her siblings, Leona Baker, Regina Ruth Miller, Mary Diesler, Elizabeth Ankney, Bernard, Charles and Raymond Meyer.
She is survived by: her husband Don; her children, Tom (Charlene) and Ann Wilhelm (Amer Abu Alfa); her grandchildren, Daniela Giuliani, Stephen Wilhelm, Joseph Hilgenberg, Adriana Giuliani, Nathaniel Chapin, Alexander Wilhelm (Mazie Bernard), Elizabeth Hilgenberg, Giuseppe Giuliani, Joshua Hilgenberg, Fletcher Chapin, Acadia Pezzolesi (Nicholas Vilardi), Cole Wilhelm and Sawyer Pezzolesi; her sister Helen Simonis (Louis); and her sister-in-law Lee Ann Marshall.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Lawson-Roessner Chapel (1753 S Clinton St, Defiance, OH 43512). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the St. John Catholic Church (510 Jackson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512).
