He is survived by: his children, Christopher Newton (Karen) of Defiance, Jeffery Newton (Ezetta) of Defiance, Laura Coressel of Defiance, Lawrence Newton (Pat) of Defiance, Deborah Wittenmyer of Defiance, Eric Newton (Becky) of Defiance, Mary Bowling (Troy) of Defiance, Cecilia Parsons (Doug) of Defiance, Amy Galbraith (Scott) of Defiance, Theresa Clemens (Richard) of Portage and Rebecca Hopper (Mark) of Houston, TX.; and his daughter-in-law Sherry Newton of Greenwood, SC. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
