He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Batt and Helen Batt (Justinger); and his siblings, Carolyn Leonard, Paul, Victor, Jerome, James, Ronald, Dennis, Harold and Thomas Batt.
He is survived by: his siblings, Eugene Batt (Marge) of Defiance, Patricia Walter of Defiance, Kathleen Boyd of Broken Arrow, OK and Mary Fitzenrider-Cox (Stan) of Defiance; and his stepchildren, Melanie Finlay (John) of South Bend, IN and Chris Duquette of Seattle, WA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to Riley Children's Hospital or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
