He was predeceased by: his parents, Arcadio Ysasaga and Antonia Ysasaga (Ramos); his nephews, Raymond DeLeon and Rey DeLeon; and his great-niece Alsace Trevino Ramon.
He is survived by: his children, David Ysasaga, Jr. of Texas, Merrisa Ysasaga of Texas and Michael Ysasaga of Texas; his stepdaughter Mellissa Dorsey of Texas; and his siblings, Arcadio Ysasaga, Jr. (Frances), Tomas Ysasaga, Richard Ysasaga (Teresa), Roy Ysasaga (Carol) and Gloria Ysasaga.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schaffer Funeral Home (529 Jefferson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512). A rosary was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Catholic Church (510 Jackson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512).
