He was predeceased by: his son Eric Iler; his brother Greg Iler; and his father Walter Iler. He is survived by: his daughter Angie; his mother Arlene Iler; his siblings, Chris Weaner (Jeff) of Traverse City, Michigan, Bonnie Iler of Toledo, Nancy Okuley (Patrick) of Toledo, Ken Iler of Defiance and Kurt Iler of Stryker; and his nephews, Lexson Iler, Benjamin Rethmel, Clint Weaner (Liana), Brent Weaner, Ian Okuley, Isaac Okuley and Wyatt Iler.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (715 Jefferson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
