He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Kunesh and Nancy Kunesh (Paxton); his brothers, Matthew and Stephen Kunesh; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Buchholz.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Davis (Jake Wilhelm) of Defiance, Jessica Flowers (Dustin) of Burkesville, KY and Janelle Duma (Rick) of Defiance; his grandchildren, Jordan, Evan, Gavin, Jargo, Harlow, Richard, Adi, Grady and Zyer; and his siblings, Mark Kunesh (Pamela) of Defiance, Laura Buchholz of Defiance and Jane Meyer (John) of Toledo.
Memorials are suggested to American Diabetes Association in memory of his brother, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
