He was predeceased by: his father Donald Deatrick; his siblings, Colleen Deatrick, Dan Deatrick and Tony Deatrick; his sister-in-law Bonnie Mansfield; and his son-in-law Jim Nusbaum.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Deatrick (Mansfield) of Defiance; his children, Jason Deatrick (Erin) of Virginia Beach, Justin Deatrick (Carrie) of Loveland and Jessica Deatrick (Chris Healy); his stepchildren, Trisha Deible (Ed), Kristen Nusbaum and Rex Andrews (Cristi Ayers) of Defiance; his brother Brian Deatrick of Aomori Prefecture; his siblings-in-law, Lee Deatrick of Ann Arbor, MI, Patricia R. Deatrick of Defiance and Stan Mansfield of Cloverdale; and his pet Moses. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church or CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.
