He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cunningham and Freda Mansfield (Burrell); his siblings, Rick, Herb, Edgar "Lynn" Cunningham and Ruth Reed; and his grandsons, Chase and Connor Cunningham.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta Cunningham; his children, Michael Cunningham Jr. (Sheri) of Jewett, Doug Cunningham (Michelle) of Granville and Jennifer Scharschmidt (Tom) of Delaware, Ohio; his siblings, David "Paul" Cunningham of Carrollton, Susan Dalton of Waynesburg and Sharon Shepard (Charles); and his grandchildren, Logan Case, Jonah Cunningham (Lindsay), Jarrett Cunningham, Brooklyn Grady, Jarra Cunningham, McKenzie Cunningham, Tyson Scharschmidt, Olivia Cunningham, Zoe Scharschmidt, Isaiah Cunningham and Jaxon Scharschmidt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family to assist with expenses.
